Our Programs
Pleasant Grove Food Pantry distributes food on Mondays and Tuesdays. Currently, each family receives a pre-packed box of food staples, produce, milk, eggs, and other fresh foods as available. Our Client Choice pantry is open on Mondays with Tuesdays remaining as above. The Senior Hygiene Closet sponsored by Superior Health Care is open on the 4th Thursday of the month. Project Dash makes free food deliveries for our mobility or transportation-challenged families. The Pet Food Pantry is open on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
Outreach
Every Tuesday, an outreach specialist from North Texas Food Bank is on-site every week to assist households with applications for SNAP (food stamps) and other programs for which they may be eligible. This is available for anyone in the community as well as pantry clients.
On most Mondays and Tuesdays, there are vendors onsite with information about community programs and different insurance programs, eye exams, dental checkups in the area and more.
